| Desktop Wallpaper Versions Available: 640x480 800x600 1024x768 A position that appears to defy gravity as both Scout Walkers have their leg-stirrups disengaged yet remain upright for long amounts of time despite neither of them leaning against a surface. This is one of the trickier positions in the Scout Walker Kama Sutra, and first-timers may need to both be resting their sides against a wall next to each other, or one of them resting their back against a surface while the other performs the 'fling'. Many Scout Walkers will topple to the ground or against a wall after performing a 'fling' anyway, so it's nothing to be ashamed of. The 'Highland Fling' is achieved by both parties disengaging their leg-stirrups and facing each other. They then magnetise their body and polarise them so that they will attract rather than repel (which would be embarrassing, and it is indeed not an uncommon sight on the battlefield to see two scoutwalkers appear flying backwards through the air in opposite directions from the foliage. Claims of coincidentally misfiring leg servos have scorn poured upon them). Thus prepared the two units simultaneously fling themselves forwards at each other. If all goes well their base-units meet squarely and stick together magnetically. If both of them had their feet touching the ground at the point of impact they stand a good chance of remaining upright. If one was too high in the air and did not meet their partner square-on then they may topple unless they can slide down quickly enough (which would require a temporary weakening of their magnetic fields - tricky). However, if all goes well, they should be upright (or leaning), attached and stable. Intercourse can proceed almost as normal, although no real thrusting can take place. They can kiss and stimulate each others central turrets, they can use their side turrets to stroke each other. If they are careful one of them can use their feet for more than stabilising against a wall. Movement is necessarily slow, but intimate and deep. This position is much, much easier in zero-gravity environments, and many partnered scoutwalkers like to sleep coupled in this manner with the gravity switched off in their storage bays when being shuttled from planet to planet. |
