The other scout walker, however, needs to be much more limber to form the 'pence': they must draw their legs up towards their face and then even further upwards and inwards until they have past their side turrets, their turrets resting in their ankle joints, face downwards, their central turret tucked underneath them and back towards their partner. Although a very satisfying and exciting position it is tricky to maintain, which can spoil enjoyment. It also isn't very practical on the battlefield - both Scout Walkers are left quite prone and vulnerable - it can take some time to get out of the position too, and neither scout walker is really in the position to defend themselves easily. Often considered to be more trouble than it's worth, 'Seven Pence' is nevertheless well worth attempting. |
